St Taino Island
St Taino Island lies in the Caribbean Ocean about two hours north, northwest of Cartagena, Columbia, South America. An aerial photo of the island would reveal the island resembles the outline of a cat. With the cat lying on its stomach, with its front legs curled up under its chest. Next, the cat’s paws tucked, back legs crouched underneath, out of view. Finally, with the tail tightly curled around the front, and with head turned alertly facing the viewer.
The northern and northeastern ends of the island were formed from a volcanic eruption of well over six hundred thousand years earlier, leaving rough sheer cliff areas and the dramatic rise in the elevation.
